Beating the "Bush"

I have been closely following the liberal rhetoric against the President. Little surprises me anymore, particularly comments from those who support a liberal ticket for selfserving purposes. For example, the past administration was ruled regularly by poles. Even Carvel admits to that. The military attack against Libya in which we totally annihilated an aspirin factory and killed cilvilians is lost in history even though its timing had to do with the impeachment heat on the President for turning the Peoples House and the Oval Office into his personal Brothel. His low life morality and debauchery led the country for 8 years. And...his charismatic charm coupled with his magic with smoke and mirrors charmed just about everyone. I voted for him TWICE! He surely had me fooled.

The Office of the President and the chief duty of the President is one in the same: To defend the Constitution and the people. There is no question, even from George Carvel, that President Bush does not have a priority to govern by poles. In fact, the poles be damned! Rather, he governs and leads as the chief defender of both the Constitution and the country. He begins and guides his day with prayer, and his motive has always been clear. It is the Oath he swore to the American People who twice, by both popular and electoral vote was placed in office by those of us who believed, supported and voted.

We are not all leaders. Not all leaders are great leaders. Not all great leaders are great in every aspect of leadership. However, as citizens who enjoy the freedom, resources and support provided by the action of those for who we campaign and elect to office, our obligation is to support our leaders and direct them towards commomly held goals. The freedom we enjoy all to infrequently is used to publically pen or verbalize our disdain for the very actions that placed these individuals in their respective position.

"...the President for turning the Peoples House and the Oval Office into his personal Brothel."

But that was tolerated and unimportant to Clinton supporters because he increased the wealth in Americans pockets. However, the country has greater wealth today, and the unemployment rate lower than ever, and yet the same standards held to say Clinton was a great President are not held to say Bush is great. ??????? So, if we have a charming, smooth talking President, he can get away with anything? Yep, sounds like the American moral system right now.

Great post! Loved it.

OK, I know I'm the minority opinion here, but.....I agree that cheating on your wife is wrong, and I don't think the Oval Office should be a Brothel, but when it comes right down to it, I believe that George W. Bush has an awful lot of blood on his hands. 6,000 Iraqis are dying DAILY amid the violence, and this includes women and children. The invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, and our nation will be paying the consequences for a LONG time to come. Let's see...Cheat on your wife, or murder thousands of women and children and torture innocent people....Hmmm...tough choice..

6000 Iraq citizens are dying daily? Better check that source really careful. It is "dead" wrong. Reality is in the order of 1000-1500 killed by their own countrymen. Or, more correctly, those who pose as their countrymen.

According to Clinton, "I authorized the CIA to get groups together to try to kill him," Clinton said. He added he had drawn up plans to go into Afghanistan to overthrow the Taliban and launch an attack against bin Laden after the attack on the Cole in the Yemeni port of Aden.

"Now if you want to criticize me for one thing, you can criticize me for this: after the Cole, I had battle plans drawn to go into Afghanistan, overthrow the Taliban and launch a full-scale attack search for bin Laden. But we needed basing rights in Uzbekistan -- which we got after 9/11," Clinton said.

The above is what Clinton says today.

I was wrong about 6000 Iraqis per day. I was quoting something I heard incorrectly. Mia Culpa.
In any event, the number of Iraqi civilians being killed keeps growing. Ask an Iraqi parent who has lost a 2-year old child to the uncontrolled violence if it matters if it is 6, 60, 6oo or 6000. 3 years after the invasion and the average Iraqi citizen lives in constant fear, does not see their country as being "LIBERATED", rather put an OB in front of the word and it is more like it. Billions of dollars in reconstruction money are unaccounted for, "missing", and it is mind-boggling to me the excuses that people will give this President.

And after you ask that Iraqi parent, ask the families of the 3000 who lost their lives on 9/11, or the volunteers who worked the site trying to recover body frqagmants and are suffering and dying from lung disease today, or the parents of the Marines who were blown up in Beruit, or the African Embassies, or the USS Cole. This is Global, and provided by the very same political machine who provides both you and I an income with increased benefits and expects NOTHING in return. Liberty? Democracy? Free Speech? Our ancestors paid a huge price on the fields of Gettysburg, Harpers Ferry, Washington, Vicksburg and more. People deserve freedom for starters, it is the one common stabilizing force that ends war and stabilizes economies. We, the USA, is trying to stop the bloodshed. Supporting this effort is the answer, not shooting from the hip!!!
